C.J.

C.J. was whelped on January 22nd, 2000, and was bred by Doni R. Steele of Proudheart Kennels, Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. C.J. passed quietly in his sleep after a short but difficult battle with cancer.

C.J. brought to Red Brick his soundness, excellent bone, and phenomenal temperament. (Around here he was known as the "Schmoo." Once he was in your lap...he wasn't leaving!)

C.J. was a full sibling to Faith's father from a repeated breeding. He had not been shown in conformation classes.

C.J. has proven to be an outstanding Stud dog who, when combined with the Red Brick girls, produced pups with sweet nature, great bone, and beautiful toplines. C.J. sired three litters for us. His last offspring is "Patience" who is an Elke daughter. She was a singleton puppy whelped on April 12th, 2007.

C.J. lives on in this last daughter. She has his sparkle in her eye.
